On January 25th, 2021, Wiegel expanded their metal stamping operations to an additional facility located in Elk Grove Village, IL. The new location was acquired by Wiegel under a sublease agreement with CTL Global, Inc., a logistics and transportation services company.
Wiegel plans to use the new 62,000 sq-ft space for warehousing and distribution and convert their current 25,000 sq-ft warehouse, located next to their plant headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, into added production space for metal stamping and assembly operations.
This new facility will be Wiegel's fourth location, as the company currently has two buildings located in Wood Dale, IL and another stamping facility in Bensenville, IL.
The new facility will also be a source for new jobs and opportunities created for manufacturing workers looking for work during the global Coronavirus pandemic.
