Every year, Wiegel participates in national Manufacturing Day by inviting local high schools and colleges to tour their metal stamping headquarters in Wood Dale, IL and discuss career opportunities in the manufacturing industry that are available for students. This year, Schaumburg High School students attended to learn about metal stamping, tool and die making, machining and the use of highly technical vision systems and sensors. Students also met a special guest speaker, Deputy Governor of Illinois, Leslie Munger who came to participate in Wiegel's event.
