Before moving your project into high-volume stamping production, Wiegel offers pre-production services such as tool & die design and manufacturing and rapid prototyping. All progressive die metal stamping requires progressive tool & dies to produce metal stampings. Our team of highly skilled design engineers can design and debug tooling using our industry’s top 3D modeling simulation and design software. Tools can then run in virtual production first to ensure the most feasible and cost-effective manufacturing is met when parts are in live production.
Our in-house Tooling Department is where our experienced tool and die makers build and maintain progressive tools for progressive die stamping production at Wiegel. We’ve invested in advanced tool making technologies that deliver extremely high precision and accuracy for all tooling projects, no matter how complex.
Our Rapid Prototyping Department is an option for customers looking to take their concepts to high-volume production, but require some assistance in engineering and design of parts and proving out manufacturability of designs.
We are a full-service metal stamping and assembly manufacturer offering value-added tooling and prototype services so our customers can reduce their supply base and source their stamping programs all in one place, from start to finish.
